About this Event
Join The Station Foundation for a meaningful community giveback event in partnership with the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center, dedicated to serving individuals and families in need across our community.
This volunteer opportunity is open to SOF service members and spouses who want to make a direct, hands-on impact. Together, we will assist with moving bookcases, storage racks, household items, and non-perishable food supplies from one storage unit to another. This is an important step in preparing for the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center’s new building, located at the oceanfront. By organizing and relocating these items now, we will better equip staff and volunteers for the upcoming “Big Move” in June, helping ensure a smooth transition into a space that will expand their ability to serve the community.
The Judeo-Christian Outreach Center plays a vital role in providing food, clothing, and support services to our local community. By volunteering your time, you are helping ensure these resources are accessible and ready to serve others with dignity and care.

8:50 - 9:00 AM: Arrival - Jack Rabbit Storage (4664 N Witchduck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23455)
9:00 - 11:00 AM: Move Items from Jack Rabbit Storage Unit to Moving Truck
11:00 - 11:20 AM: Travel to AAAA Storage (1332 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454)
11:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Unload Items from Moving Truck to AAAA Storage Unit
Event Details:
Light to moderate physical activity (lifting, carrying, organizing)
No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to help.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
Bring a water bottle.
Work gloves (optional but recommended)
