The Interviewing Veterans training session examines best practices with engaging veterans through interviews and other correspondence.

Learn how to bring out the hidden qualities that a veteran possesses that may or may not be communicated directly in a standard interview or employment assessment process. Learn to differentiate between facts and myths regarding veterans’ mental health as well as gain an understanding how stereotypes negatively impact the way hiring managers view veterans. Employers can also learn about identifying disabilities and providing accommodation in the workplace.
