Interstellar: Private IMAX Event - Veterans Day at AMC Metreon SF
About this Event
This private event was inspired by the Reddit group "r/Interstellar", a dedicated group of fans who wanted a chance to see this Interstellar again on the big screen. With the help of AMC, we brought this film back in July of 2023. Since it's been a few years, I decided it was time to do it again! I've established a private agreement with AMC Theaters to bring this film back to San Francisco on one of the largest IMAX screens (80'x100') in the world on Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11th at 10 AM. The film will be presented in Dual Laser 1.43:1 IMAX.
Ticket prices are inflation-beating! (same price as 2023) at $42 per person, plus Eventbrite fees, and are non-refundable. VIP Early Access is available for $12 extra (limited to 60 tickets) and gives you 15-minutes of early access to pick your favorite seat! Sales end 11/10/26 at 11:59 PM.
Doors will open at 9:45 AM for VIP Early Access ticket holders, with General Admission Entry at 10:00 AM.
Doors will close at 10:15 AM; NO LATE ENTRY.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, however our audience will only be occupying about half of the theater's total capacity so everyone will have a good seat.
There are no commercial trailers and the film will start at 10:15 AM SHARP. Talking/texting during the movie will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.
Run time is 2hr 49min. See you at the movies!
