The discussion will introduce shared language, highlight differences and similarities between therapy and spiritual care, and explore how these approaches can complement one another in holistic care.

About Rev Mary Ann Brody: Mary Ann is a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester and Executive Director of Crossroads of Caring, Inc., a community-based Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program in Rochester, NY. Mary Ann was trained as a spiritual caregiver at URMC and worked as a CPE educator at Sisters of Charity Hospital before founding the Crossroads program in 2020. She has also served several Episcopal congregations in the greater Rochester area over the last 20 years.
