Robert “Bobby” Fieseler is a journalist and scholar who researches marginalized groups and excavates forgotten histories. Fieseler will lecture and read from his latest book "American Scare: Florida’s Hidden Cold War on Black and Queer Lives" on the history and legacy of the infamous Florida Legislative Investigation Committee, a McCarthy-esque cabal of white legislators that targeted Black and queer Floridians between 1956 and 1965, as well as its impact in Gainesville.Registration: https://mathesonmuseum.networkforgood.com/events/95896-interrogating-the-johns-committee
