Accessible Tram Tours at Sweetwater Wetlands Park

Tram tour meets in the parking lot. Sweetwater Wetlands Park recently aquired a ten passenger electric tram, courtesy of the Wild Spaces & Public Places half-cet sales tax! We will be offering scheduled accessibility park tours in addition to our call ahead service. In the event of heavy rain or severe weather, the tour will be cancelled. Take a guided tour at Sweetwater Wetlands Park and learn about the park's history and managament, and the wildlife and plants that can be found here. The tour is free with general park admission fee ($5.00/vehicle).

Tour leaves at exactly the posted time. Please arrive ten minutes early. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tram tours are not recommended for toddlers and we cannot accomodate infants.

If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so others may participate. No shows will be placed on stand by list and future reservations removed.

We can accommodate up to 7 guests on each tour and tickets must be booked in advance for all your guests. The tour is a mixed group tour so please understand you will be joined by other visitors and fans of the park.

Special accomodations: we offer accessibility tours to neighbors and their familes who might have some mobility challenges. These tours must be booked at least one week in advance. Please call 352-554-5871 to book an accessibility tour.
