International Flash Mob Day @ Pecan Street Festival!!Mark your calendar for May 4th @ Pecan Street Festival in downtown Austin for a LINE DANCE FLASH MOB – SO MUCH FUN!!
What: INTERNATIONAL LINE DANCE FLASH MOB DAY! (Annually on the 1st Saturday in May, flash mobbing the same line dances all over the world on the same day! 2nd time for our Austin group to participate!)
What’s a flash mob?? At a certain point, we will all be in ‘generally’ the same corner of the festival & our music will start playing loudly!! We will just suddenly dance it out in & among the crowd! … Then we will try to squeeze in 1 or 2 other popular line dances afterward & invite the crowd to join us!
When EXACTLY: May 4th! The details & exact times are still being nailed down & will update this event as SOON as we know specific time & location within the festival.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE??

4. We will be TEACHING the higher level “When You’re Drunk” at north Maverick’s Tuesday Night Line Dancing, both March 26th & April 9th AND it will be playing weekly every Tuesday til the flash mob!
5. ALSO – Both dances will be included during our monthly April Beginner’s Line Dance Party on April 26th, hoping for an early review of the dance at 4:30pm!! (Will confirm!)
6. Since it’s May 4th (May the Fourth be With You) & the day before Cinco de Mayo, we may throw in a Star Wars dance (if we can’t think of anything else, maybe MIB lol??) & Amigos in Low Places?? Maybe we can do some quick costume changes!
