Wir wünschen uns nach dem Vorbild der USA und anderer Länder einen „Nationalen Polizei-Gedächtnistag“ auch für Deutschland am 15.5. eines jeden Jahres.
Dies, zum Gedenken an alle im Dienst am Bürger um’s Leben gekommenen Gesetzeshüter.
Praktischerweise sollte die Woche um den 15. Mai eines jeden Jahres zur „Nationalen Polizei-Woche“ erkoren werden.
Erinnern wir uns alle an diese unbesungenen Helden in Blau und bedanken uns bei jedem/r Polizist/in, die wir sehen sehen, dass er/sie jeden Tag sein Leben auf die Schmale Blaue Linie gesetzt hat, um die Bürger dieses Landes zu schützen!

Following the example of the US and other countries, we would like a "National Police Memorial Day" also for Germany on May 15th annually.
This, in memory of all law enforcement officers who died in the service of the citizen.
Conveniently, the week should be around the 15th. May of each year for the "National Police Week".
Let's all remember these unsung heroes in blue and thank every LEO we see that he/ she has put his/ her life on the Thin Blue Line every shift to protect the citizens of their respective community!
