International Women’s Day Salon Recital

Celebrate International Women’s Day with us at our Salon Recital featuring Beautiful Music by Women Composers featuring the music duo Ginkgoh Salon. This special performance at the historic Kalamazoo Ladies' Library Association, 333 S. Park Street, will will focus on the work of women composers as we celebrate International Women’s Day. The Ginkgoh Salon features Dr. Ann Lemke, oboe, oboe d’amore, & English horn and Amanda Sabelhaus, piano. Dr. Ann Lemke will share background information about the lives and cultural milieu of the women composers . As a special feature, arrangements by the local composer and music professor Margery Stomne Selden will also be performed for the first time at this recital, honoring her life and legacy.
