About this Event
International Women's Mountain Bike Day is recognized on the first Saturday in May, it is a day dedicated to women enjoying mountain biking with each other and encouraging fellow women to join them.
Piedmont Fat Tire Society and Piedmont Lady Shredders are hosting an event on Saturday, June 1, 2024 to celebrate this day. This event is open to all Lady Shredders!!! This will be our fourth annual celebration. For the past three years over 50 ladies have joined us for skills clinics and group rides. This year we are doing it again and offering skills for all levels, bike related clinics, group rides, games, lunch, prizes and more!
We will have Greensboro Mountain Bike Experience at the event which will allow us to have mountain bikes available for use, so bring a friend and share the love of the sport! You will need to register for the event before you can reserve a bicycle. If you would like to reserve a bicycle please email [email protected]. Please be sure to have your reservation to the event available when you contact Lauren.
We are committed to keeping this event free for all women who would like to participate, but we will require registration. We will limit the event to 50 women so please register early. We will have a wait list so if you cannot come, please let us know so we can open spots up to those on the waiting list. If we have more than 50 ladies who want to attend the event we will make every effort to open spots, but we do want to keep clinics small so you get the attention you need to learn new skills safely.
NEW THIS YEAR:
Please register on the event page and then go to the add-ons to pick your clinic. Clinics are limited to 12 registrants but we will have a wait list. Please register for one clinic only. Clinics are limited to 12 registrants so we can ensure everyone get the attention they need to safely learn the skills.
