International Whiskey Day Tasting and Cooking Class

Come celebrate International Whiskey Day at Sistrunk Marketplace with Chef Jorge Montes as we explore the world of whiskey. This celebration of whiskey will feature a tasting of 3 whiskey's from around the globe and a hands-on cooking class focued on enhancing your culinary skills with using whiskey! The full menu for this delicious gathering will be released soon, but it’s safe to say that for $85/person you cannot go wrong.

🍽 Bacon-Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Blue Cheese and Pecans – Sweet dates filled with creamy blue cheese and crunchy pecans, wrapped in bacon, and finished with a whiskey maple glaze.

🍽 Potato Chip-Crusted Salmon with Dill Mustard Sauce – Fresh salmon fillets coated in a crisp potato chip crust and served with a tangy, dill-infused mustard sauce.

🍽 Chicken and Chorizo Sliders with Roasted Pepper Salsa – Juicy chicken and chorizo patties on slider buns with a smoky roasted red pepper salsa.

🍽 Whiskey Banana-Caramel Parfait – Layers of caramelized bananas infused with whiskey, whipped cream, sea salt caramel , and crisp vanilla wafers, served in individual glasses.

Throughout the class, participants will taste and compare three distinct whiskeys from around the world, exploring the differences in production, flavor, and tradition from Japan, America, and Ireland.

Doors open at 6:15pm, Class begins promptly at 6:30pm
