International Vesak II & Inaugural Tipiṭaka Pāḷi Chanting Ceremony

After 3 years of preparation , the preliminary stage of the Dhammacetiya project is nearing completion. We are pleased to announce the organization of three major ceremonies from April 25 to May 4, 2025, to mark the significant milestone of commencement of this sacred historical construction:

– The First Tipiṭaka Pāḷi Chanting Ceremony in the USA (Reciting the three baskets of scriptures: Vinaya, Sutta, and Abhidhamma).
– The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of the Dhammacetiya project.
– The International Vesak Day (Hương Đạo Temple invites international Sangha to attend the Vesak ceremony. This ceremony is different from the United Nations Vesak Day – ICDV – International Council for Day of Vesak).

This grand ceremony will feature a night of lighting 24,000 candles.

Each candle embodies a wish to cultivate more wisdom. At the same time, it contributes to preserving the flame of the Buddha’s teachings, which originated in India, spread to the West, and flourished in the United States, ensuring its everlasting presence.
