The 5th International Symposium on Photopharmacology (ISPP 2026) will take place from April 8 to April 10, 2026 in Sète, France, near Montpellier. Photopharmacology is a multidisciplinary field at the interface of chemistry, biology, and pharmacology, which focuses on using light-sensitive compounds whose structures and functions can be precisely controlled in space and time. By harnessing light as an external control, researchers aim to advance both fundamental research tools and therapeutic applications. Despite rapid progress, significant challenges remain on the path to clinical use.
