International summer chess festival Jurmala Rudaga-Kaissa 2026

Dear chess players, coaches, and federations,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the FIDE-endorsed International Children and Youth Chess Tournament “Rudaga – Kaissa 2026 Summer”, which will take place in Jūrmala, Latvia.

Dates: 13.07–19.07.2026

Venue: Lielupe by Semarah Hotels, Conference Centre “Jurmala Hall”, Jūrmala, Latvia

The tournament is an international youth chess event bringing together players from different countries in a spirit of friendship, fair play, and sporting excellence.

Tournament format:

• Classical chess
• Rapid (10’+5’’)
• Blitz (5’+3’’)

The event will be conducted in full accordance with the FIDE Laws of Chess and is planned for FIDE rating in all disciplines.

Chief Arbiter: Agapi Ter-Avetisjana, FIDE Arbiter (valid license)
