International Secondary Credential Evaluation Workshop
About this Event
Join Educational Perspectives for a full-day, hands-on workshop designed for school district personnel who work with students educated outside the United States.
International academic records vary considerably in format, grading practices, curriculum structure, and terminology. This workshop introduces participants to practical methods for reviewing and interpreting international secondary school credentials, with particular attention to academic placement, credit recognition, and course equivalencies.
Through guided examples, document reviews, case studies, and group exercises, participants will develop a stronger understanding of international education systems and the challenges that arise when evaluating foreign academic records.
The workshop is particularly suitable for professionals who are new to international transcript evaluation or who would benefit from a refresher on evaluation practices.
