💜 International Overdose Awareness Day - A Night to Remember
Every person lost to overdose had a name.
A face. A family. A story.
People who loved them and still carry them every single day.
This International Overdose Awareness Day, MoNetwork is bringing a special evening of remembrance to North City—a community too often overlooked, yet deeply impacted by overdose.
On August 31 from 6–8 PM, we will gather at Westside Missionary Baptist Church to honor the lives of those we have lost, support the families who continue to carry their memory and create a space centered on love, remembrance, dignity, and hope.
💜 We are asking families to submit photos of loved ones lost to overdose.
Their photos will be represented during the memorial as we take time to honor each life and the people who loved them.
This is not about how someone died.
It is about how they lived.
It is about their smile, their laugh, their story, and the empty space they left behind.
It is about saying their names and making sure they are never forgotten.
Food will be provided, families and community members are welcome to join us for this special evening of remembrance.
