International Overdose Awareness Day
Observed on the 31st of August every year, International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) seeks to create a better understanding of overdose, reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths, and create change that reduces the harms associated with drug use.
Triumph will be hosting its 10th annual Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st. The event will be located at Sarg Hubbard Park, 111 S 18th St, Yakima, WA 98901 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.
By holding an event this year, we are joining a global movement for understanding, compassion, and change. By coming together to remember our loved ones, we stand together to say that more needs to be done to end overdose in our community. Please join us to hear from those with personal experience, gather information and resources from various community partners, and pay tribute to those we have lost.
