International Observe the Moon Night at Goddard Visitor Center

Join us for interactive hands-on activities, a Moon art gallery, presentations, lunar and astronomical observing with telescopes, and the opportunity to see a real Apollo 14 Moon rock in our exhibit! Step behind the scenes to discover what it took to make the historic Artemis II mission to the Moon a success. Plus, learn about the groundbreaking research happening at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center as we unlock the secrets of the Moon, our solar system, the galaxy, and the universe beyond.

Logistics:

-This event will occur rain or shine.

-There is free parking at the Visitor Center. Overflow parking will be available as will a shuttle to and from the overflow lot.

-The Gift Shop will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

You can participate by hosting or attending an event, or by observing the Moon with your family or friends, or on your own.
