International Line Dance Flashmob 2026 at The Commons

Step into something bigger than your average dance class 💃🕺

Join us at The Commons Park for the , where Minneapolis links up with dancers across the globe for one shared moment of music and movement. Led by Deena Broaddus of Line Dance with Deena, and supported by 17 Twin Cities line dance instructors, this all-abilities event is designed for everyone—whether you know every step or you’re just here to give it a try.

Together, we’ll learn and dance an award-winning routine in sync with communities around the world, all while supporting the Line Dance Foundation. Presented in partnership with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and Downtown Parks, this is your chance to be part of something fun, welcoming, and just a little bit unforgettable.

Event Schedule
1 pm – Arrivals + Welcome & Introductions
1–1:30 pm – Open Dance
1:30–2 pm – Preview & Learn the Flashmob Dances
2–2:30 pm – 🌍 Flashmob Performance (Dance with the World!)
2:30–4 pm – Open Dance + Community Time
