International Jazz Day - with Alemay Fernandez

Alemay Fernandez—the only Asian jazz singer to have performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, Duke Ellington Orchestra, and Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra—makes her much-awaited NCPA debut with a line-up of world-class musicians.

She is joined by an exceptional ensemble:

Sharik Hassan (Piano), who has performed with Wayne Shorter and Joe Lovano.

Edward Livingston (Bass), who has played with Elvin Jones, the Marsalis family, and Natalie Cole.

Ben Scholz (Drums), who has shared the stage with Roy Hargrove and Buddy Guy.
