International Gator Day NJ: CSW Global Volunteer Project

The Gotham Gator Club is excited to volunteer with CWS Global

for International Gator Day 2024 in New Jersey!

We invite New York tri-state Gators to join Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups from around the world to volunteer in your local community together on Saturday, May 18th!

This year we begin IGD in Manhattan at the KEEN basketball project on the Upper East Side.(Separate registration is required.) After this project we take the Path train to Jersey City for our afternoon IGD project painting and clean a refugee shelter.

Gotham Gators join CWS Global to support their vision to create a world where everyone has food, voice, and a safe place to call home. We will clean and paint the newcomer refugee shelter and make school kits.

CWS Global supports newcomer refugee individuals and families, as they rebuild their lives. Refugees are resettled into our communities with minimal English training, limited familiarity with U.S. culture, and limited financial resources. Their resettlement process is complex, but CWS Jersey City hopes to relieve this pressure through support and a path to self-sufficiency.

Please note:

• Wear comfortable shoes .
• Wear ORANGE and BLUE attire. Wear casual, comfortable clothing that you can move around and have fun in! *Intl Gator Day T-Shirts will be provided!
• Arrive PROMPTLY at the start time for a brief orientation and GROUP GATOR PHOTO.
• Your RSVP is a firm commitment.
• Limited spots available.
