International Flat Day Ocean Dip

Come and join the Sunshine Coast flat community for International Flat Day on Sunday 11 October 2026.
Come to Mooloolaba Spit (the end near the rock wall) where we’ll meet for a shirtless ocean dip and social meet up. Bring a chair or picnic blanket, beach umbrella, gazebo and something to snack on for lunch. There are nearby cafes and a few options to buy fresh seafood or fish and chips.
This is an event organised for flat women to connect with others who have undergone mastectomy and chose to remain unconstructed (aesthetic flat closure). Flat women around the world will also be celebrating #FlatPride on International Flat Day (7th October).
Those who want to swim can get in the water, either shirtless or covered with swimmers if you’d prefer. If you’re looking for an opportunity to show off your breastless body in public, this is your chance to do it surrounded by a group of supportive women.
If you don’t want to swim and you just want to come along for the socialising, we’d love to see you there!
Wet weather contingency: In the event of wet weather, we will meet in the undercover BBQ seating area at Mooloolaba Spit, next to the foreshore footpath and playground (opposite Fish on Parkyn).
