International Festival Of Minnesota

Motherly love Is a project that has been made possible by voters of Minnesota through a grant from the metropolitan Regional Arts council, thanks to a legislative fund. Thus, Motherly love is individually operated and aims to provide access of creativity, community, culture and care giver mental wellness to single African American mothers who are facing economic hardship and mental distress directly related to being a single mother in this economy.

Dress code
You and your child please come dressed in a all white top
On April 11th, 2026 @ 1-5pm , motherly love will be welcoming 6 African American single women aged between 26-28 who only have 1 child between the ages of 5-7 to participate in festivities at The International Festival of MN in which they will be allotted $50 In cash to spend on food offered at the Festival. Motherly love aims to create a safe, fun environment for mothers and their children to experience food, culture, music, and community at the International Festival of Minnesota. Can't wait to see you there !
Elgibiliity process

Email [email protected] of proof of government assistance. ( Snap, medical assistance , housing assistance ) and a photo ID please cover your address I only need to see your Photo ID and birthday.
Please attach a summary in the email that includes :

1.your name, where you are from, occupation, a little bit about yourself and your child

2.what are you looking forward to gaining from this experience ?
3.what do you like most about being a mom ?
4. What has been a challenge of being a single mom ?

5.What other events would you recommend I consider hosting?

Cancellations
Please email [email protected] 48 hours prior the event , for any cancellations, so your ticket can be offered to another mother, failure of proper communication will elimínate your future participation In future events .

Info: We will meet at the front of the convention center for head count, ticket and money distribution

Info: We will head back to the front of the convention to close up the event. Have final thoughts and comments. I will always be the last person left to make sure all of my mothers and children depart safely!
