It’s the crocheters’ turn!
Join the CWA Geelong Group for a relaxed and friendly morning of crochet, conversation and community as we celebrate International Crochet Day.
We’ll be crocheting squares that will be joined together to create blankets to be donated to support our local community. We’ll provide the pattern — just bring your hook, yarn and yourself!
Whether you’re an experienced crocheter, still learning your single from your double, or haven’t picked up a hook in years, you are very welcome. There’s no pressure and no need to finish a square — come along, have a go, share some tips, enjoy a chat and simply spend a couple of hours creating together.
🧶 What to bring:
8 ply wool or yarn
4mm crochet hook
📍 CWA Hall
174 Boundary Road, East Geelong
📅 Saturday 12 September
🕙 10am – 12 noon
☕ Morning tea will be available for $5 per person (cash only).
And knitters, you’re welcome too! We’ll have a knitted square pattern available so everyone can join in.
