International Coastal Cleanup Day: Shoreline Cleanup

Happy International Coastal Clean-up Day!

Join volunteers cleaning up shorelines around the world and make a difference at Shirley Chisholm State Park! Pick up washed up debris along the Fountain Water Access Area on Saturday, September 20th, 2025 from 11am to 1pm.

All materials, including hand sanitizer, gloves, and garbage pickers are provided. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy!

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Fountain Water Access Area is about 0.7 miles, or a 15-20 minute walk, from the Fountain Ave Parking Lot. Please refer to the map below.
