Join NBSTCC & Carley on the Coast for a special Trash Bash in honor of International Coastal Clean Up Day!
Check in at the Sand Crab Pavilion on Navarre Beach. Look for the "Giving Sea Turtles More Tomorrows" banner! We will supply a limited number of buckets, pickers, and gloves - you're welcome to bring your own. Don't forget your water and sunblock! This event is weather permitting, and we will post at 7 am on the day if canceled.
According to Ocean Conservancy, plastic has been found in 62% of all seabirds and in 100% of sea turtle species which is why we’re partnering together to work toward a common goal of cleaning our beach! In addition to the scientists we always share our monthly Trash Bash data with data from this event with shared with Ocean Conservancy so that all International Coastal Clean-up data can be analyzed together to contribute to a global database that gives insight into this ever-growing problem while also helping inspire real solutions.
