- International Astronomy Day's purpose is to connect the general public with astronomy enthusiasts and professionals, and to share the wonders of the cosmos.
- Join us the North Bay Astronomy Club at our Waterfront by the old Chief Commanda to view the sky during this special day from 6pm to midnight.
- We will have telescopes and binoculars for viewing the sun, planets and the stars.
- There will be an information table, quizzes, coloring pages and stickers.
- If you have your own telescope, or binoculars bring them out as well. We are available to help you with any equipment you may have and to share our knowledge and expertise.
- All of the public, all ages are welcome to this free event.
