International Archaeology Day is a celebration of archaeology and its contributions to society. Every October, the Archaeological Institute of America and archaeological organizations around the world present archaeological programs and activities for people of all ages and interests,
Try archaeology-inspired activities and discover how archaeologists learn about the past. Touch historic artifacts, try your hand at assembling a replica terra cotta pot, participate in a mock Archaeological excavation and record your findings and more!
Learn from real life Archaeologists about the important work they do. October 17th from 1-4pm. Free.
