Intern and Apprenticeship Advice Clinics

In collaboration with Business West and the Somerset Innovation Network, Bridgwater & Taunton College are offering 1-2-1 advice clinics for businesses that would like to learn more about employing an apprentice or taking on a T Level student.

As well as explaining the overall process, staff from the College will talk you through what you need to do as an employer, including setup, the recruitment process and ongoing support.

The team can also offer information about T Levels - a great opportunity for businesses looking to bring in fresh talent. Learn how businesses like yours can benefit from taking on a T Level student, how it can enhance your workforce by building a future talent pipeline.

Clinics are held at the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation in Taunton. Book your slot today.

Who can attend?

If your business is in the Aerospace, Advanced Engineering or Digital sector (or supplies these sectors) and is based in Somerset (excluding BaNES and North Somerset) then these clinics are open to you as part of the Somerset Innovation Network. (Or Dorset if in the Aerospace or Advanced Engineering sector). Businesses who are already part of the Somerset Innovation Network can also attend.

What is the Somerset Innovation Network?

The Somerset Innovation Network is a fully-funded programme driving innovation and collaboration to forward-thinking, and growth-driven businesses in the region.

Bringing together two innovation centres in Somerset - iAero in Yeovil and the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation in Taunton, the network aims to encourage collaboration and innovation between businesses, whilst helping them grow and develop through a variety of tailored 1-2-1 support, informative workshops and networking opportunities
