The student will learn (through repetition) the essential skills needed to perform efficient and effective weapon system manipulation. Designed to help the intermediate and advanced shooter deploy proper shooting fundamentals while learning their personal balance between speed and accuracy. Subjects that we cover are: proper gear placement, the fundamentals, BSA template, administrative loads, critical incident reloads, tactical reloads, solving for malfunctions, getting off the line of attack, challenge commands, various shooting positions, use of cover and more.Equipment Needed: Students will provide their own ammo: 400 rounds preferred. Drills can be modified to accommodate a lower round count. Hardware – A functional and practical handgun chambered in standard defensive caliber. If available, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea. Each student should have a minimum of 3 working magazines. Single stack drivers should have 4 working magazines.
• Clothing suited to strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate.
• Rain gear / cold weather gear (seasonal).
• Ear pro (electronic preferred) / Eye pro.
• Baseball style hat recommended.
• Proper belt to support equipment.
• Pistol magazine pouches (Optional: Battle belt, or Chest rig).
• A holster and magazine pouch that will retain equipment when moving.
• Water hydrating device.
• Folding chair and table (optional)
• Snacks - lunch – drinks
