Intermediate Shibari

Join us on Sunday, August 16th from 1-3pm to dive deeper into to rope bondage, known as Shibari! In this intermediate Shibari class, our focus will be on specific knots, more in depth safety protocol and 2-3 step by step body harnesses! We will learn how to tie half hitches, munter hitches and X frictions. We will also learn an Agura harness, a Futo harness and/or a Hip harness. This class will explore more intricacies into body contortion and discussion around shibari suspension.
MUST ALREADY KNOW HOW TO TIE SINGLE COLUMN TIE AND REVERSE TENSION.

Signing up with a partner is not required. Individuals may practice on themselves. Athletic type clothing is recommended (nothing too baggy), as is bringing a yoga mat or pad to sit on. Rope and safety shears will be provided.
