Sew you have learnt bag making in the past and need to up your game!? … then this bag making workshop is perfect for you!
In this 3.5 hour workshop we will make a roomy messenger bag with a zipped outer pocket with adjustable strap using bag hardware, lined with internal pocket & a magnetic clasp to close. This messenger bag will have added dimension with boxed corners method. We will also use iron on interfacing to give our bag some shape!
I made my bag from a thick cotton (used for cushion & curtains) (not stretchy!) … I think for this workshop why don’t you use your own fabric - you will need 1m (nothing stretchy please - a thick cotton fabric, canvas, cotton twill, denim, or corduroy (thick) will all work really well! I will supply the lining, zips, bag hardware etc - Bringing your own fabric will ensure that way you get your bag in exactly the fabric you would like!
