A participatory workshop presented by three researchers from the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies
About this Event

This will be a participatory workshop led by three OCMS researchers:

Sam Ngugi - a Kenyan based in Cambridge, UK working with Kenyan diaspora churches to explore their missional motivations and strategy

Laura Sanlon - who has been researching mainly African diaspora churches in the Republic of Ireland and their relationship to the wider Christian community

Bruce Rossington - I linguist from Bristol whose research is in the area of churches moving from a multi-cultural experience to a truely intercultural ministry

The workshop will address such issues as :

What is God doing through diaspora churcvhes in Britain and Ireland?

What does intercultural discipleship look like?

Can intercultural dynamics sometimes be difficult?

What will 'next generation' intercultural church look like?
