InterAct Open Mic with Featured Poet Julianne Porras-Center

Are you ready to get your poetry on? Join us on June 2, 2026 at Satori Arts for InterAct, a FREE open mic night, from 7-9 pm, featuring poet Rev. Julianne Porras-Center.

Rev. Julianne Porras-Center is a pastor and poet inspired by the natural world, the communities who call it home, and the Spirit which dwells among them. She holds degrees in English Non-Fiction Writing and Environmental Studies from Brown University, a Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and upon moving to Santa Cruz County, became a California Certified Naturalist. She is the Executive Director of Somos Watsonville, a non-profit, bilingual café and community space which seeks to empower often marginalized communities in Watsonville to explore and experience spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness.
