Intentional & Retro Tech Gathering (In-Tech)

Long story short, this will be an opportunity to meet other enthusiasts, content creators, and brands in the intentional, purpose-built tech space. (Note: if you are a creator or brand and would like to be added to the line-up, please email me - [email protected])
What does this "intentional tech" consist of? Great question! Here are some (non-exhaustive) examples:

• Retro Tech - Not to be confused with vintage tech, this is new-production tech that has obvious aspects, inspiration, elements, or aesthetics from yesteryear. Yes, this includes retro gaming!
• Privacy Tech - This is technology focused on helping the user maintain their data sovereignty and keep prying eyes/algorithms away.
• Anti-distraction Tech - This is technology designed to help you stay connected while avoiding doomscrolling and brain rot (small-screen phones, e-paper devices, custom-built operating systems, etc.).
• Minimalist Tech - This is technology that deliverately delivers the bare essentials (and sometimes even less) to stay connected in the 21st century, like dumbphones!
• QWERTY Devices - This includes smartphones, dumbphones, handheld PCs, smart typewriters, and any other purpose-built, portable physical keyboard devices.
• Parent & Kid Tech - This is hardware/software designed to help kids have a gateway to technology while building independence in a healthy and safe way.
