Intensive Script and Casual Lettering Workshop (Intermediate Level)

Join lettering artist & sign painter Ged Palmer for a creative weeeknd of learning at LETTERBOY STUDIO, Hiroi Bldg. 2F, 216-8 Tomigaya, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-0063, Japan. This workshop is perfect for those who have some experience with lettering & signwriting and want to take their skills to the next level.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to refine your techniques and explore new styles. Our expert instructors will provide guidance and tips to help you create beautiful and expressive lettering. Whether you want to enhance your personal projects or pursue a career in lettering, this workshop is a great way to expand your skills.

The first day will focus on various Casual lettering styles, the second day will be focused on Script, we'll work towards making some small 'show card' signs to take away at the end of the workshop allowing students to work on layout as well as lettering.

Drafting tools, brushes, paint and a workbook zine will be provided. Please bring lunch with you on the Saturday so we can keep painting as much as possible and on the Sunday we'll find somewhere to sit and grab a bite together. Please be aware that we will likely be using oil based paint and thinners, expect some paint fumes and wear appropriate clothing!
