A simple, accessible introduction to somatic-based teaching for movement instructors of any background.
In this 25-hour Yoga Alliance continuing education program, you’ll learn how to bring somatic awareness, nervous system understanding, and deeper presence into your classes—no matter what you teach (yoga, barre, Pilates, fitness, dance, or functional movement).
This training includes:
✨ 5-hour in-person intensive on Sunday, Dec 7
✨ 20 hours of self-paced virtual learning
✨ Space to ask questions and receive ongoing support
✨ 25 YA CE hours
You’ll Learn:
Basics of somatics
Nervous system–informed teaching
Simple somatic cueing
How to support choice, awareness, and presence
How to integrate somatic concepts into any movement class

Movement teachers of all kinds — beginner or experienced — who want their classes to feel more grounded, supportive, and connected.
Prerequisite: Any movement teacher training, no teaching required
