Join us for this unique opportunity to expand your peer support practice through a justice-informed, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed lens .
The Integrated-Forensic Peer Recovery Specialist (I-FPRS) Training is a specialized 28-CEU educational program designed to equip peer professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively support justice-involved individuals through recovery, reintegration, advocacy, wellness, and ethical peer practice.
Presented by the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral-Health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB), this comprehensive training explores criminal justice systems, the Sequential Intercept Model, trauma-informed care, recovery capital, advocacy strategies, ethical decision-making, and forensic peer support principles.
IMPORTANT: This is a four-day training. Participants must attend all four training dates to receive CEUs and a certificate of completion.

Hybrid Attendance Options
This training is offered in a hybrid format. Participants may choose to attend:
- In Person
- Virtually via Zoom
- A Combination of In-Person and Virtual Attendance
Participants must indicate their intended attendance format(s) during registration.
Please note that attendance will be monitored throughout the training, and full participation across all four days is required for CEU eligibility.
