Meet in the ground floor lobby of the John P McGovern Commons Building, 6550 Bertner Ave, 77030. Texas Medical Center Entrance 4 and $13 parking available in the TMC Commons parking garage.

Info: During this guided architectural walking tour, we’ll get an overview of the scale, history, and design of this remarkable campus and how it supports patient care, research, and education.
We’ll walk through portions of the main campus with ArCH docents and discuss notable buildings and institutions along the way, including Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Methodist Research Center. The tour highlights how architecture and planning contribute to innovation and collaboration in modern healthcare.
The tour involves outdoor walking on paved walkways, so please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
