Installation of Mother Susan/Celebration of New Ministry

On Wednesday, December 16, 5:30pm, Mother Susan will be installed as the 21st Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Dubuque. This is not just about St. John's. A Celebration of New Ministry, also known as an installation, is an opportunity to celebrate the ministry of a local church and its place in neighborhood, city, region, and beyond. It is a chance to celebrate together all the possibilities of how a congregation can support the work of building community within and beyond its walls. If you are part of the Dubuque community, residents, city leadership, community supporters, educators, first responders, healthcare providers, fellow ministers in religious communities, civil servants, business leaders, and so many more, you are welcome to celebrate with us! The Episcopal bishop of Iowa, Betsey Monnot, will lead the service and there will be a reception afterwards. We hope to see you there!!
