Join the The Wednesday Makers Group for the opening of "Inspiring Women in Stitch " . The theme of “inspiring women in stitch ” seems an obvious choice for an exhibition. leading to International Women’s Day 2026. Who inspires inspiring women?
The Wednesday Group spent time researching, remembering and recollecting information about women who individually have inspired them. The artworks capture the essence and values of the chosen person(s). The work also conveys and celebrates stories and messages about the spirit and courage of diverse inspirational women, often unrecognised in history. Creating artworks about others who influence us positively also reveals our own thoughts, values and social justice issues which support our own quality of life.
