Inspirational Conversations

Meaningful, moderated conversations enrich lives and build meaningful friendships. Bring a positive attitude and desire to engage in the conversation. The goal will be to keep the group smaller and limit initial meetings to 6 to 10 people so that each of us an opportunity to share their thoughts on the topic.

Topic for this event: The intent is to discuss an inspirational or philosophical topic at each event. This week’s topic is: What is the best piece of advice you've received? Or...what is the QUOTE that has inspired you most?

FREE to ATTEND - This is not a networking event - NO PRODUCTS WILL BE MARKETED OR SOLD BY THE HOST, NOR THE ATTENDEES. This is simply to build community and meet new friends -- like a Meetup.

Conversation Ground Rules

· Conversation built on respect and mutual supportiveness.

· Everyone is a rich source of knowledge and experience and sharing that knowledge is a useful experience.

· Willingness to commit to bring a positive attitude. Negativity will not be tolerated.

· A commitment to keen critical and creative thinking skills.

· Willingness to listen without interrupting and respecting other points of view.

· The group is not a counseling or therapy group. However, meetings will work like a sharing circle. Each participant will be limited to 3 minutes per rotation.

· Exhibit kindness, sense of humor and a willingness to be supportive of others.

· Share responsibility to keep it a positive, informative, uplifting, safe space.

Respect

Please arrive a minimum of 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Be respectful of others. If you cannot attend cancel your booking as it allows another member to attend. Two no shows and you will be banned. Respectful conversation is a must. Group leadership has the right to ban anyone who is not conducive to developing a strong group of kind, thoughtful people with a common goal of supporting one another.
