Cawayri//Yared is a NYC (Brooklyn & Manhattan) based duo blending otherworldly sounds, poetic storytelling, and cutting-edge beats to create a genre-bending sonic experience. Drawing from their distinct backgrounds, the pair crafts music that transcends borders and eras.
CAWAYRI (Abhay) is a Brooklyn-based electronic music producer whose organic house beats blend 808s, old school Bollywood samples, and Indian instrumentation. A multi-instrumentalist with roots in Carnatic music and blues guitar, he creates lush, intricate soundscapes that draw listeners in.
YARED (Daniel), a Midtown Manhattan- based Mexican-Israeli poet from Los Angeles, fuses a 90s West Coast Hip Hop influenced English/Spanish flow with raw lyricism.
Together, Cawayri//Yared invite listeners on a journey through culture, rhythm and raw emotion, proving that music is the ultimate universal language.
