Emma Speirs has been working in advertising, magazine editor and PR roles for more than 20 years.
After working both in-house and in an agency environment for some household names, Emma set out to create her own agency that shared positive stories about the smaller businesses who were achieving great things but were so busy doing the day-to-day work, they weren’t communicating their successes to the outside world.
Since establishing her own agency - Ballyhoo PR - in 2016, Emma and her team have helped a wide range of SMEs in a variety of sectors to raise their profile through pitching stories to the media, writing winning award entries and managing their online presence through social media, blogs and digital PR. Her clients have gone on to appear on ITV, BBC, The Express, Daily Mail, Platinum magazine and many more.
In 2022 Emma launched The Ballyhoo PR Academy to teach business owners and those in small marketing teams how to do their own PR and get results.
