We hope you come and learn better ways to transition you and your family. Please register for ALL sessions (5p-8P), because there will be different topics per session. As we get closer we will identify what topics are being discussed at each. Starting at 5p come and enjoy a FREE dinner.

We will have a series of seminars so that the various topics concerning the Senior Adult Community in Canton can be adequately covered.
Topics such as:
What to do to stay at home longer
How to find the right Assisted Living Community or Personal Care Home for my parent(s).
Medical Devices that will allow my parents to remain independent such as fall detection devices and others.
Medicare – what it covers including Medicaid and VA benefits.
Hospice Care – the various uses and benefits that it offers. How it can be used in an Assisted Living Community, at home, or in a Hospice Facility.
Legal concerns – Elder Care Abuse – how to spot it and what to do about it, the necessary forms that you need to have completed (Will, Health Directive, POA, etc.)
Caregiver Help – advice for Caregivers, how to care for Dementia and other memory impairments, when is it time to consider finding a community for mom & dad, how to handle burnout, how to handle difficult situations with your parents, etc.
All sessions are the same and will include dinner, panel of experts with Q & A time as well as Exhibitor Tables/Booths.
