The Town of Leesburg invites residents to the spring edition of Inside Leesburg, a community-focused event where residents can learn more about Town services, programs, and ways to stay informed. The event will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Ida Lee Recreation Center.
Inside Leesburg provides a unique opportunity for residents to meet Town staff, ask questions, and gain insight into the services the Town offers. Attendees will also learn how to differentiate between Town services and Loudoun County services, and discover the best ways to receive updates, including news releases, social media, and the Town website.
Event highlights will include:
• Informational Presentation: Learn more about how the Town operates.
• Department Swag: Take home branded items and helpful resources from participating Town departments.
• K9 Demonstration: Watch the Leesburg Police Department K9 team in action and learn how a drone us utilized during special events and police investigations.
Please note, this event is intended for adults. Inside Leesburg is an informative, community-focused opportunity for residents to engage with their local government and stay connected.
Key Town staff members will also be in attendance to answer questions and provide additional information following the presentation, giving attendees a chance to engage directly with the people who manage Town operations and services.
In addition, a recently published Resident Guide will be available for attendees to take home as a valuable reference. Other Town materials will be available, including the Town’s Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Report, Recycle Coach information, the Citizens Emergency Preparedness Guide, and Utility department handouts.
