Bill Ashburn – Master Blender, Forty Creek Distillery

Bill began his journey in 1987 at Reider Distillery (now Forty Creek), blending eau de vie before evolving his passion for whisky innovation. His craftsmanship redefined Canadian whisky in the 2000s, earning him Canadian Master Blender of the Year and helping Forty Creek claim the title of Whisky Maker of the Decade in 2020.

Chris Thompson – Brand Ambassador, Forty Creek

Chris fell in love with Forty Creek at first sip and left a successful wine career to pursue his passion full-time. From countless tours at the Forty Creek Brand House to speaking engagements across North America, Chris has become an energetic and sought-after voice for Canadian whisky, bringing Forty Creek’s story to life with every pour.
