August 18: Insects - Where Would We Be Without Them?

(Peter Kuper is an award winning cartoonist and author of the graphic novel INSECTOPOLIS: A NATURAL HISTORY. His work appears regularly in the New Yorker, THE NATION and MAD magazine.)
(Carl Safina is an American ecologist and author of books about the human relationship with the natural world. He is the founding president of the Safina Center, which focuses on environmental conservation by combining science, art, and literature.)
