You and your family can step into the fascinating world of insects! Science, nature, and curiosity come together at the Botanic Garden during this educational event that explores the incredible diversity of insects and their vital roles in ecosystems.
You'll get an up-close look at live arthropods and learn how to identify common species found in local habitats. Interactive stations will cover topics like insect anatomy, metamorphosis, and the connections between plants and insects.
Try your hand at being an entomologist at our Discovery Stations and experience how entomologists study arthropods by exploring a pit trap site, observing crepuscular pollinator gathering sites, searching for arachnids in the gardens, and more!
