Born as the youngest in a middle-class family, he always felt like the “extra cushion” on the sofa unseen and unheard. What begins with innocent mischief, broken elbows, sweet revenge and village struggles slowly turns into a deeply personal journey of insecurity, silence, rebellion and inner revolution.

Blending sharp Rajasthani humour, traditional Dastaangoi style, poetry and hard-hitting truth, this solo performance traces one boy’s transformation from being ignored at the family parliament to finally finding his voice on stage. Because the biggest revolutions are often the ones that happen within.

Sikandar Khan is an accomplished actor, storyteller, & theatre practitioner with over a decade of experience, known for his work in over 23 plays & the Amazon Prime series Mumbai Diaries 26/11. Since 2020, he has been passionately performing Dastangoi, reviving the ancient art of Urdu storytelling through emotionally rich & socially relevant narratives across India & beyond.
